Domaine Cedrick Bardin (Loire Valley)

Founded in 1991, the Bardin estate extends over both banks of the river Loire, and in total fifteen hectares of vines are cultivated spanning the appelations of Pouilly-Fumé, Pouilly-sur-Loire, Sancerre and Coteaux-du-Giennois.

The domaine tries to work in the most rational way possible, with respect for the land and the wider environment, and making use of cutting-edge techniques whilst not forgetting the know how passed down by their ancestors.

It was only logical that, at the start of 2016, the Bardin domaine decided to join the Terra Vitis network, which governs an environmentally friendly approach ‘from the vineyard to the bottle’. Since the 2018 vintage, the second certified vintage under this framework, the estate have taken the approach a step further by not using any insecticides or weed killers.

The team here strive to make unique regional wines that fully satisfy all customers, with a number of different cuvées regularly winning industry awards.
